Thor, one of the most revered figures in Norse mythology, is the god of thunder, strength, and warfare.

Recognized as the son of Odin, the chief of the gods, and the earth goddess Fjorgyn, Thor’s might and bravery make him a key protector of both gods and humans against malevolent forces.

One of the most iconic representations of Thor is his enchanted hammer, Mjölnir, a fearsome weapon that symbolizes his power over thunder and lightning; it’s said that when Thor hurls Mjölnir, it results in thunderclaps. Mjölnir is not just a weapon of destruction but also of consecration and blessing.

Despite his ferocious nature in battle, Thor is often depicted in Norse sagas and poems as straightforward and loyal, sometimes even jovial, contrasting with the more cunning personalities of other gods like Loki.
